The inner ring of the rolling bearings is used for assembly with the journal. And the outer ring is used to collect with the bearings. The classification of bearings is mainly classified according to the shape of the rolling elements, bearing force and structural form. The rotating bearing structure usually consists of an inner ring, an outer ring, a moving frame and a cage.

Rolling elements (steel balls, rollers or needles) are usually arranged in bearings through the housing to move between the two rings. The outer ring usually extends beyond the hole in the bearing housing or mechanical housing to support it. However, in some cases, the outer ring is also running, and the inner ring is fixed to help, or the inner ring and the outer ring are running at the same time.
 
For thrust bearings, a collar that fits closely and moves with the shaft is called a seat ring, which overfits and supports the bearing housing or mechanical housing hole. Rolling elements (steel balls, rollers or needles) are usually arranged in the bearing through a cage to move between the two rings. Its shape, size and quantity directly affect the load capacity and performance of the bearing. In addition to keeping the rolling elements separated, the cage can also play a role in guiding the rotation of the rolling elements and improving the internal lubrication performance of the bearing.
