No shit. Shungo sucks.
Also, I'm disappointed that Heath lost to Greco. What kind of injury was it?

I bet, I think we need to make a "best excuses ever" document to save keep on record what's going to be said on SD and various other sites now.
Anyone seen the fight? Was it an easy decision or a close fight?

i heard penn had trouble with ryota's kicks, and on the ground he was just too outsized.

hey Phatty, Heath hurt his leg throwing a kick to Greco, and he twisted his knee, from what i understood from the pbp @ kakutougi. i guess Bob Sapp's KO was pretty Brutal.

awsome....
well, its awsome that you got me that info.
Sucks that it happened. We will see a rematch and Greco getting kneed to the head soon hopefully
Maybe now Penn will quit trying to "think outside the box" and go back down to his regular size and weight class.

Go Hansen!!
the Hansen vs Uno fight was 2 seconds from going to a decision then Uno looked back at his corner and shorty after ate a HUGE knee to the head. Both fighters were totally gassed at this point, and both laid on the canvas after the fight. Uno KO'd all to hell, and Hansen just tired.

maybe. but Greco is a damn good MMA fighter. He is no slouch to Heath whatsoever. i wouldnt be suprised if he was to straight up beat him 3 rds to a decision or something. Greco has that natural instinct on the ground that Hunt has it seems. Very good at reversals on the ground n such.

i had a pretty good pbp source, and it seems Penn couldnt handle the weight difference. he got gassed from trying to move and carry lyotos weight around the ring. Penn also has some gut weight on him to beef closer to Lyoto so he wasnt in the best of shape. Bottom line is Penn isnt cut out for HW's. he bit off way more than he could chew and i knew it from the start. not suprised by this outcome whatsoever.

yeah supposedly. Val is done. he needs to stop NOW. he has already ruined his record by going 6-12 in his last 18. he should stop while he is still above .500.

he needs to find that haircut that is unstoppable. just like Randleman needing to find the hair color that could turn him into the killer he can be. its ALL about the hair.

sorry i didnt realize i didnt have the Chalid Arrab fight in there.
Chalid Arrab def. Yukiya Naito by Decision (2-1)
Even though I had total confidence Michida would win, I was agonizing over this. I can't think of one MMA fight I've ever had stronger feelings about.

i just watched the Sapp fight. He got his nose bloodied by the Korean in the first round then dropped him hard with a wild haymaker right. Bob still will get his ass whooped by any A level fighter. I have the Sapp, Le Banner and Sudo fights and will post them in a couple of hours

was anyone "bothered" but the "ad" on the guy that faught Lebanners Gi?
I like HERO's and think it is great and all but can we please leave advertising off of our gi's. lol
I was also very impressed with LeBanners ground game. He attempted an armbar once and it the guy wasnt a judoko it may have worked

Just watched Heath vs Greco adn Sapp vs Kim
Heath, IMO, clearly would have had that fight. He didnt do any real damage or anything he was just more controlling I think. It looked like when he kicked, his shoe caught and looks like something that would hurt your ACL. Hope not

I thought the Penn/Lyoto fight was a poor decision. Lyoto didn't do anything apart from land one decent punch and one liver kick. BJ forced the fight and i thought he deserved something out of it.

i have to watch the match. i heard he didnt do great at all and that lyoto got the win for simply neutralizing Penn.

I wouldn't of argued with a draw but Penn was more aggressive landed strikes more frequently and was outweighed.
what lbs did Lyoto fight at?

i think lyoto was 220lbs.

I thought Lyoto had to make 205. I guess he still could have been 220ish.
