I am going to be in the Aberdeen, MD area for the next 8 months and I am looking for a good BJJ school and MMA school in that area. Any help would be great. Thanks.

You ask for help without a thread introducing yourself first?

Aberdeen MD! Not that far away. Check the BK poster map for folks in your area.

I know of one here in DC, but that is a bit of haul from Aberdeen... If I come across anything, I'll let you know.

I couldn't find any in Aberdeen. These two are in Baltimore, which is the closest I could find.

You also might want to look in Delaware, like Christiana or Wilmington. Baltimore is 36 miles from Aberdeen - Christiana is 32 miles away. Just a thought!

Sorry about not introducing myself. My name is Mike and I have been doing BJJ for about 2 years now. I have competed all up and down the East Coast. Myslef and my buddy (George Lockhart) are being sent up to MD for a couple of months. I just found out today that I am not going but George is. He is a MMA fighter. So he will be looking for a school to continue his training. George has quite a few fights, he is 25-0 Am and 3-2 Pro. He has fought some good guys. Such as Edwin Dewees, Dave Garcia, Ricky Foltz. Well that is my introduction, looking forward to all of your inputs and thanks for the help so far..
