I have NO fucking clue...
I know that there are like mutant robots or something...
the ENTIRE movie was done blue screen kinda like Sky Captain, but they did a much much better job

I am yet to see Sky Captain, but from the glimpes I did catch, this movie looks like it does have alot better effects.
