Kyle McLaren? That guy turned into a Euro. I guess he'll lay a hit every once in a while, but he got real soft. I remember when he fought a prime Sandy McCarthy at center ice and held his own. I don't think he has been in a fight in 3-4 years.

Some people claims that hip check's were much more commons in 60's and 70's. I don't know is that true because I was born in late 70's.

I don't miss the fights so badly. Fights are OK in regular season but in playoffs, WC and olympic games players should pay more attention to winning the game.
