Jesus....So The ottawa Senators are no longer going to be playing hockey at the corel center.Corels contract is now up and The Bank of Nova Scotia has bought the rights to put their name on the place. So from now on The corel center will be known as.......
The Scotia Bank Place.
Originally The Corel center was suppost to be called the Pladium.I dont think I was even called that on opening day,the streets leading up to the facility is still named Pladium drive. But this new "The Scotia place" Just doesnt sound right....beating all of the other hockey teams just isn't going to be the same anymore.I just hope they dont change the "get a free piece of pizza every time ottawa scores 6 or more goals" deal.
What are some other stupid names for sporting centers you've heard of?
