The CRUSHER starts as the favorite here, but the always wild and crafty Scandinavian, a former champion himself, is too good of a fighter to be that much of an underdog.

Have to go with whoever is the dog here, its such an even fight (imo). Crusher can't contain the furious scandinavian for a full bout, he'll work his way back up and start throwing bombs. Not to mention Kawajiri has stated that he wants to showcase some standing skills.

It's a scary bet tho, because Kawajiri was so blown-out by Gomi and Hansen has that old an controversial win over Gomi, you gotta think Hansen is higher demand to challenge Gomi in the future. If he loses to Kawajiri tho, Gomi will be down one of his highest demand title-contenders. But nobody seems to care that Gomi's not fighting Ribeiro so who the hell knows anyway.

I still have no idea how this is controversial. If you have any feel whatsoever for Shooto scoring, it is by the books.

Also, who cares if Kawajiri wants to flex stand up skills? He is facing Hansen.

...if a person knows anything about how Shooto scores a fight, there is no justifiable way Gomi could've even beat Hansen. That is all there is to it. Hansen automatically gets a 10-8 round for Round 2, so the best Gomi could've done without smashing the shit out of Hansen and near subbing or knocking him down in Rounds 1 and 3 was a draw.
