fuckign hell ive lost 12 verbatims disks in 2 days.

first thought my encoding was fucked on 3 gigs, redid them all. roughly 7 hours worth of encoding.
then i figured my pioneer a07 was bum since the projects play halfway through then freeze on playback.
SO THEN i go to circuit city buy a new duel layer liteon.. and same fucking problems.. what the fuck is going on here?

oh and to cross check the disks ive played them back on 2 standalone panny burner units in my suite.

what to do? what am i doing fucking wrong?

What software are you using to burn? and do you have updated firmware on your drives? I know on quite a few burners when you buy them they have old firmware that has been updated since they have been manufactured. Possible you got a bad spool of disks?

in 4 years of using verbatim's ive never had a bad batch like that in a row. i buy em off the pro bulk.

also my method for burning and authoring on 2 different pc's (move the drives to one pc which is the only burner in my suite) is using canopus edius>procoder 2>burn to pioneer a07.
this shit is puzzling. strange thing is the vob files playback on my timelines no problem (the file acutally burnt to the disk..the m2p elementary stream vob file) but now the disks play on a shitty player in my office but not my regular players.
