hmmm... Dean can take a hit and has a good tank, Randleman has been bringing less and less to the table lately. Im going to have to say a late rd2 armbar with Lister beating The Monster.

i think Randleman is gonna be too much strength for Lister. Decision controlled win for Randleman or a TKO Late.

my opinion actually changed after watching lister fight...

Guess it depends what version of Randleman comes into the ring, but I think Randleman should pull this one of and get another W on his record.

he is due to spring back after his recent embarrasments. MW suits him better due to his height. hes easily the strongest person in the tournament IMO. if he uses his wrestling smart he could do better than people think in this tournament. gotta remember his past accomplishments and the fact that people go on skids sometimes but bounce back big. i think it would be cool if the Monster bounced back big in this tournament and makes some upsets.

He's got the tools, but we've said that about Randleman for a long time now, but his performances are so inconsistent. He is the strongest fighter in that tournament without a doubt, and if he can take them down he'll most likely control it, which is why I think he'll take out lister. His problems will come later, especially given his remarkable submission defence...

it depends what opponents he ends up getting. funny thing is i could see him beating wanderlei by decision simply by using his strength to hold him on the ground and control with light gnp. its all upto randleman. all im saying is people have gone on skids in their career and recovered. if he goes the vitor belfort path then he isnt gonna go anywhere.

That's true, unfortunately. I don't see him growing as a fighter as long as he keeps training solely with the Hammer house. Coleman may be a good trainer from a wrestling perspective, but Randleman needs something else, some submissions dammit!

If he faces Silva, he could pull it off unless Silva starts showing why he's a black belt in BJJ. I think Yoshida would take Randleman, same with most of the BJJ guys in the tournament.

i think training with someone other than hammerhouse is the key. coleman is great for wrestling but wrestling isnt his problem. if he had sub defense i bet he could be 20-5 rather than 15-10.
