Using XP SP2 and I'm getting this message after the boot screen everytime.
A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows update you might need.
FYI, when I got the laptop (which is where this is occuring), I switched the 20gig original HDD with a new 40gig but this problem wasn't occuring after I installed and booted windows on it so its not the HDD. Can anyone make heads or tails of this? I can enter windows in safe mode, but if I try to enter in normal this happens.
