Did you see the syringe that someone threw at him, damn that was funny. I am thinking about getting Mets/Giants tickets and wearing a Superman muscle suit with a bonds jersey.

He isnt the only one in mlb to take steroids. He is just the easiest target. How come they never threw syringes at Sosa, Palmero, Canseco, Giambi, McGwire.....Do you guys think that your favorite MMA fighters do not use steroids?

I'm not attacking you, im just responding to everyone saying fuck barry bonds. I do not like him myself he has always had a bad attitude. But the majority of people are saying fuck bonds because of his alleged steroid use and that alone.

It's funny (sadly funny) that the black player who gives his kids Russian names is the primary objective of a government-led witchhunt to tarnish his credibility in the history of Amerikkka's Game. What's even funnier is that everyone buys into it with NO credible evidence supporting such accusations. (If they had strong evidence, do you think the commissioner would just sit on it? No.) Hey, you know what else looked good in the eyes of public hype but turned out to be a shitty, unforgivable mistake? The Iraqi War. If anyone has a right to be an asshole to the media, it's Barry Bonds. They've basically ruined his credibility with unsubstantiated steroid allegations. As far as I'm concerned, he's been infinitely patient and tolerant of the media.
At least he's not out raping women (Kobe Bryant), stealing cell phones and getting caught with marijuana (Allen Iverson), or knifing people to death (OJ Simpson). If Bonds' only crime is being such an exceptional player that allegations of steroid use swirl around him, then hats off to him. "Steroid use" is a bullshit excuse lazy people make for not being as good as exceptional athletes.

I'm very disappointed with the "know it all" baseball fans. I have always played to my fullest potential and I guess that will never be good enough.
When they threw that syringe at me, I just put it off the field so no one would get hurt. If that's what they want to do, embarrass themselves, then that's on them. I have to concentrate on baseball.
For all the fans that still support me... I will get through this. This is a game that I love and I will continue to play it.

you know what's even funnier than all of that? when people assume that the reason no one wants bonds to break the record is because he is black. that whole theory would be a lot more credible if the current record wasn't already held by a black man.
as far as there being no evidence of bonds' wrongdoing, what about bonds' ex-mistress as well as the owner and several employees of balco who admitted to federal agents that bonds had taken steroids? or how about barry's undeniable link to greg anderson, who was found guilty of dealing steroids? or how about the audio recording where anderson admits to supplying bonds with steroids? or what about the doping calenders? or how about barry admitting to the grand jury that he took the cream and the clear? or how about barry gaining 20 pounds while simultaneously going from 8% bodyfat to 6% while in his mid-thirties? or how about barry's head growing? or how about barry scoring a 28 on harrison pope's "fat-free mass index" formula when anything over 25 indicates steroid use?
or if all that doesn't make you suspicious, how about the fact that bonds entered his prime at the age of 35, when most players are drastically declining? how about the fact that before he hooked up with greg anderson and balco he averaged a homerun every 16.2 at bats and after he hooked up with the steroid dealers (at an age when he should have been declining) he almost doubled his homerun frequency to a homerun every 8.5 at bats? or how about the fact that of the 6 seasons in which bonds hit 45 or more homers, 5 of them came after he hired the steroid dealer as his personal trainer?

well, there's a couple things wrong with this argument. first of all, two wrongs don't make a right, so it doesn't matter how many bad things other athletes have done, their wrongdoings don't make bonds any less culpable.
secondly, while what those guys did were morally reprehensible and arguably worse than what bonds did, none of their crimes affected their playing ability. no one would have cared if bonds did steroids once he retired from baseball (with around 500 homeruns), the reason everyone is in such an uproar is because what bonds did directly affected baseball.
lastly, while i will once again agree that some guy using steroids isn't in the same league as rape or murder, the whole picture is much bigger than that. i seriously doubt there are any kids out there that have ever thought "kobe raped a girl, i should too." or "i want to be just like o.j. so i'm going to go murder some people." however there are thousands of kids out there that have looked at bonds or sosa or mcguire and thought to themselves "look at how steroids helped them, i should take steroids to improve my game."

I thought he stated that failing to break Hank Aaron's record wasn't as important to him as 'beating Babe Ruth's (the white man) record.' Either way, he's a douche nozzle.
