Remy Bonjasky vs Mighty Mo

Musashi vs Rick Roufus

just so you all know, Musashi turned down a fight Ray Sefo, so now we have this fight. id like to see Rick knock his fucking head off, but we will probably see another Musashi patented judges decision. Im a big Mo fan, so im picking him to upset Bonjasky. Both should be decent fights. we still have to get Mark Selbee an opponent for his superfight as well.

Remy vs Mo should be a good fight. I dont see Remy knocking or troubling Mo with his punches but his kicks may prove decisive and his speed wil obviously come in handy. However Mo has heavy hands and hits hard and I think will give Remy at the very least a good fight.

Remy is probably going to have to kick Mo very hard in the head if he wants a TKO or KO. only advantage for Mo that i see is the fact that he Can KO Remy with 1 punch. He possesses that 1 punch power. Remy can leg kick and use his speed to get a decision, but i dont see his leg kicks TKO Mo either. Mo has taken leg kicks with pain, but not pain that puts him down.

Why did Musashi decline the fight with Sefo? Is it simply based on the fact that he doesn't feel he can win or is there another motive?

i dont know what his Motive is, but Sefo WILL kick his ass. when they fought in the GP he shoulda won. he will go all out since there is no other fights in the same day, if they fight again.

musashi probably didn't take the fight because of the "third time is a charm" effect. he's beaten Sefo the last 2 times, I think Sefo's due for a KO victory and Musashi, ever so cleverly, turned down the fight knowing it would stop any momentum he has. Musashi has been on a tear between the GP's....only 2 losses in the last 2 years have been to Bonjasky, via JD

i want Rick to kick him in the mouth. Roufus can still bang, so this isnt a pushover for Musashi. ill become the biggest Roufus fan if he KO Musashi.

Laughable to hear Musashi turned the fight down, although he probably did the smart thing there. I'm going to root for Roufus as well!

musashi's running away skill got him 2x k-1 world gp finalist including wins over aerts, sefo x2 and kaoklai.

starting from 2000 to 04 , musashi record is 14-2-2. so, in two yrs musashi was only defeated by bonjasky twice and thats it.

alright no postwhoring the thread. we already established that the refs cheated Sefo twice by giving Musashi the run away win.

alot of people are saying that this era that Musashi is fighting in is lacking top fighters. it's not like the old days when any fighter can win the GP. but, maybe it's that Musashi has just improved since he got a new boxing coach and got into better shape. he's fighting smarter and isn't trying to go in there and going toe to toe against the bigger and stronger fighters. he's using what he's got and that's his kicks and his speed

he is definetly fighting in down times of the HW division. it lacks the talent there once was in the past. that works in Musashi favor along with the judges that are bias towards him. its been discussed inthe past and there is no doubt Musashi is favored by the judges. i dont like him because its happened so many times and he acts like he actually deserved to win the fight. he needs to say something for getting favorable decisions. japanese fans even think the same way.
