they're giving him the Rizzo treatment. so, I take it he got himself a huuuuuuge contract that the UFC can't get out of....good for Franklin. he's a future champion and a great investment.
world champion math teacher....it'll catch on

dark matches will be used for a tv special soon fo'sho
actually nowadays the ufc can voi dall their contracts after the rizzo incident. I am sure if they cut out Franklin before 8 fights they have to pay a percentage left of the deal.

the UFC thought Rizzo would be around for a long time so they signed him to a 150k per fight 6 fight deal.
The last you saw of "the rock" was as a prelim vs Ricco Rodriguez. It was a dive, his contract for the UFC AND his final fight was the most expensive prelim the UFC EVER had.

It will be a shame if we don't get to see any of the dark matches, there are some potentially really cool fights on there...

I just noticed that the event won't be held live on the westcoast on Spike TV. Tape delay's suck. It's gonna interfere with the Barrara fight tonight on PPV. Do any of you on the west coast know if direct tv will show it live? I have charter. Can I go to your house?

If you allow me to go to your house for this event, I'll in return invite you to mine for the next UFC event. I'll even buy you dinner.

What does spike tv have to do with a fight on PPV?

On the west coast, the TUF event will be shown on tape delay at 9:00PM. For it to be live here, it'd have to be shown at 6:00PM. Since the show is on tape delay at 9, the Barrera fight will be on at the same time. The usual main events for boxing take place at around 8:30PM.. Direct TV will be showing the TUF event live on the east and west coast.

I'm West coast but My Dish Network has East Coast Spike. So it'll be on at the normal time. If you'd like to leave your phone number I'd be more than happy to call you and spoil all the events.......
