They're not my favorite team, but I like Detroit for the most part. I like the style they play, and I like the fact that everyone PLAYS, not just takes up a spot on the court.
That said, it's kind of nice to see somebody shut Rasheed Wallace up for a while. He gets on my nerves. Then again, I hate all things UNC.
i've been so far off in my predictions of this year's playoff series that it isn't even funny.

I stopped watching and paying attention to the playoffs when the Spurs and Cavs were ousted

Meh maybe. I'm from the Detroit area, so I for sure am not a Piston hater... but there has been something seriously wrong with this team since the last playoffs. People just want to blame Flip, but really they barely got past Miami last year and no doubt helped by the Wade injury. They have this annoying attitude about being able to win no matter how far behind. You think they would have learned last year after losing to San Antonio. Point blank, they are not a team that can turn it on.
With that being said, I really can't honestly say the Pistons were the better team. Miami played some serious basketball. They seemed to have an answer for everything. I am very curious to see how the clash of the east coast versus the west coast style works.

interesting. so lets say the pistons could turn it on at will......both teams being at the best, who wins, detroit or miami?

take it like a man.they eliminated us. it was payback. detroit is a solid good team, but Shaq is very very motivated and Wade is Wade. theres gonna be some good parties down here when the Finals start.

I go to school in Michigan, and thank goodness they lost. At MSU, there were way too many bandwagon fans and they drove me nuts. All they would do is bash the Bulls, and say the Pistons could pass the 72 wins the Bulls in a single season. Pistons fans are more annoying than Cubs fans. Thank goodness the Pistons and Red Wings lost!
