Arena Football Player dies during game

this story is pretty sad. died of a spinal injury making a tackle. quite a shame. he used to play for the carolina panthers, and was currently a DL for the AFL Los Angeles Avengers.

I heard about that this morning on the morning show... it's a damn shame... but, it is surprising it's not more common.

it sucks cause he was just supporting his wife and kid. he wasnt a great NFL player, but he had a job in the AFL for his family, and died providing for them at 26 years old. it is suprising that it doesnt happen more often, but im just happy it doesnt cause we wouldnt have these kinds of sports with shit like that happening all the time. it always is a risk though while playing the game. its just part of it.

It's a terrible story. There's not much professional football can do to prevent these types of tragic injuries or deaths. It's once in a rare while that it occurs and let's be thankful for those odds.

I went to a Los Angeles Avengers game a few years back and had a really enjoyable time. I hope the sport grows to the point where these players have stability and are able to provide for their families for putting their bodies through hell for our entertainment. Kind of like boxing and MMA..

talked his way into a college scholarship in football played his heart out .

then crushed three Vertebrae in his neck on a TD saving tackle .... It's still the worst sound I have ever heard in my life .

What sort of fuckin tally is that? 49 tackles in 20 games whoopy fucking doo, I make that in 2 games and I ain't got half of the fuckin kictchen strapped to my shoulders... And half a tackle where the fuck did they get that from... well he nearly made it....

No wonder he got killed trying to tackle if had took the time to make any he may have been alright...
