i found this out after getting shot up all day cause i was too goddamn big for the barriers at the course. Free beer all day though made the experince tolerable

this place called OC paintball near my house. our radio station had a charity benefit out there. i got hammered before i went out on the course.Best part of the day was watching a team of Maryland State troopers lose to some 13 year old kids. Started drinking at 10 am. Its seems like a good game but damn if the paint isnt expensive as hell.

Yeah it's really fun, but can get expensive. Most fields make you buy their paintballs too, which are way overpriced. Also, I would shoot you since you are so tall.

Update on this: Paintball is good for tall persons, because one can lend over barriers and shoot foes in the neck. Two sides of every coin, gigante.

No, it sure is not. I play/used to play Pro-Am, speedball. Small courts, limited bunkers - extreme fast pace. I'm like 6'1 which is too tall - so I usually play back court, stay behind call out positions and pick off opposing players. If you ever need tips on your game gimme a buzz.

As far as expensive goes - keep playing at the same field and if you do well enough and they have a pro court they'll most likely offer you sponsorship. If you place in a few tourneys from there on in you'll get corporate sponsors... aside from Gatorade and minor modifications to my marker (An Angel Speed thankyouverymuch) I spent like, zero dollars last year. Very handy. Don't think I'll play much this season, gonna focus on getting into MMA more and my team disbanded, don't feel like taking on gnubs

No, but really, I can relate to the tallness factor, but we usually get some trees even in regular game fields (bear in mind that 85% of this country?s surface is covered by trees) which lends some shelter to taller guys.
It does not outequal the disadvantage though.

I did! One game though these dumb chicks i was playing with decided to crowd behind a barrier with me and left me exposed. Got shot in the knuckles then. Out of the 6 games i played yesterday only 1 was really good. I was strafing the other team from left to right until my boy captured the flag. Now im just sitting at work with a beer hangover and thinking i ate way too many burgers and dogs yesterday.

Wow....Our barriers are almost 6 feet tall....which sucks for me, because I can't shoot over the top of them...but they hide you really well.
