Reid is underrated and would have prob beat Lacy in his prime. Reid is not prime though.

I agree, The "Grim Reaper" was an underrated boxer, Drew. I liked Reid a lot in the late 90's...definately more than I liked Calzaghe. Yeah, the version of Robin from 7-8 years ago probably would have taken Lacy, but...I don't know, man...my opinion of him really went down the toilet when he lost his WBC strap to a 42/43 year old Sugar Boy Malinga. I mean, everybody and his brother had already beaten Malinga (when he was younger). Sugar Boy...yeah, he had wrested a JD from a post-McClellan, truly shot Nigel Benn prior to that, but Reid was still at his best when he lost his title to Malinga. I guess that still just bothers me a tad.
It's not like a Holmes/Mercer scenario, where the loss can be written off because of the older guy's "7 1/2 years as world champ/21 title fight wins/all-time great" status as a fighter, who had one last terrific performance. Know what I mean?
