I admit it. I thought it'd be suicide for Mora to figth inside and backing up like he did but he chained together some nice combos that overshadowed the body work of Peter. He stole rounds, boxed well, got in the bigger shots...

Congrats to Sergio taking the series, didn't have him down as the winner at all at the beginning of the show. Can't wait to see the final fight.

Sergio did exactly what nobody expected him to do, fight on the inside. Congrats to him!

no, there wasn't a feeling of them wanting one or the other to win, it was more like, "I'm a promoter now, so I'm gonna start stumping for rematches."

"He also was asking Alfonzo if he'd rematch Jesse, but then magically decided to have him challenge Sergio, and he had also set up a loser of the main fight fights Alfonso and the winner of the fights Winner of the main event."

It was like he was having mental diarreha and he kept thinking of as many fights as he could and spouting them out. In the end it just made him look like a jackass.

yeah, but in hindsight, he did the same thing against najai. in the one pro bout i saw him fight, he was also pretty comfortable fighting in the ropes. the only guy who really made him pay at the ropes was isshe, but he survived.

i don't buy the "stealing rounds" that they kept mentioning; sergio landed the more flush shots and combinations, and peter didn't get to hit sergio as cleanly throughout the fight, so sergio didn't "steal" any round; he won them. i actually didn't have the fight close either, so i was pretty surprised whenever sly and srl would say it's dead even, etc.

There were 3 close rounds, and 4 that Sergio definately won. I had Peter winning 2 of the close Rounds and Sergio the other. So I had it 5 - 2 Sergio.

Peter's punches looked like they had nothing on them passed the 3rd round. with the exception of the times he tagged Sergio when he was mouthing off to the corner.

yeah, that looks like the same thing the judges saw, with them having peter win 2 rounds or less.

i think the mouthing off was also for the judges, to try to show them that he's the one in control. sometimes people buy into that and lets it affect their scoring.

people didn't believe me when i said Peter would gas halfway through. "He fought 12 rounds in a champsionship.....blahblahblah". Not from what he showed on the........show. He was almost helpless at the end. Power ain't no good when u lack the fuel. I was surprised Sergio fought on the inside, since that's usually a death wish for a wiry outside fighter against a burly brawler. But it worked for him.

Congrats to Sergio, hopefully he doesn't waste that money. And also, good luck to all the other fighters, maybe this exposure will be good to them and they can earn more money in the future. But truth be told, they should avoid the top MW tier if they value their life. I would advise many to drop a weightclass or two. I wasn't overly impressed w/ anyone on the show, Ishe looked the sharpest, but as i've stated, they can't hang in the upper tier of MW.

yeah, man, he does gas pretty fast. were you the one who said peter has the gas mileage of a hummer? :D

i don't think they can hang with the upper tier of the middleweights, either, but given time, a few might.

i actually thought sergio was the most talented and skilled among them, after seeing him fight najai. he's much more comfortable and composed in the ring than anyone else, except alfonso. he and alfonso are also the only thinkers in the ring. he has incredible versatility, being able to fight outside and inside. he knows how to psyche out an opponent, like alfonso. he has pretty good movement, and an arsenal of a lot of punches from different angles. he has good speed. he takes a punch pretty well. he has pretty good endurance, considering his punch output. the only thing he doesn't have is power. that's pretty good. if he can develop that power, i wouldn't be surprised to see him at the top tier of current middleweights (if he is a middleweight).
