I'm not, partially because I think it will mimic the first fight, therefore rendering it pointless.

I don't see Chuck pulling anything else out that might stop Couture.

I'm not because I like both fighters, Chuck being one of my definite favourites and I don't see him taking Couture unfortunately .. Could be a helluva fight if they're both on though.

I am looking foward to it. Although I think Chuck will not have enough to go the distance and I could see Randy taking him out before round 4.

I will say this though and you'll see why in my article in the next few days here.
Rich Franklin will defeat Randy Couture by armbar.

Randy's BIGGEST weakness.... sub attempts from the standing guard or even closed guard.


Vitor by Randy's own admission, almost got him TWICE with armbars.

Franklin will defeat Randy by armbar if he gets past Ken Shamrock.

I really see this fight being a complete snoozefest, unless, chuch gets off a luck overhand right. and I DONT see that happening. Chuck has what he said Alex K had, a punchers chance. thats it

I almost feel bad for Chuck. I don't see any way that he can possibly win.

I think Rich is outclassed for sure there. But, when you look and read Randy's last 4-5 fights. He is VERY VULNERABLE to armbars. Look what Enson did to Randy, although he has grown leaps and bounds since then. IT can happen, and that will be how Randy loses, when the time comes.

Keep in mind Rich is a finisher, he doesn't take fights to the distance, He is always looking to end the fight. So if anyone has a chance to take out Randy, I think it'll be ahumble guy like Rich.

This fight is going one way randy boxing chuck into the cage, clinch, takedown game over the octagon is randy's ultamete weapon against striker's unless they can KO him quick its gonna be a long night

i have a feeling Chuck will take it this time around.

...but the logical prediction would be Randy by decision.



Randy usually doesn't fight to finish and he rarely takes any chances. this fight is a painfully boring unanimous decision in the making.
