Who's your vote? I am split between Ben Gordon and Emeka Okafor. Emeka's putting up decent rookie numbers on an expansion team but Ben is just as productive coming off the bench with far less minutes. BG sneaks it by a whisker.

Oh, I thought you meant "hottie". I was gonna call you a fag.

For rookies, I'd say Okafor.

Ben Gordon but Okafor will probably end up winning the award.

i know he has no chance at winning the award, but i'm amazed that jameer nelson isn't getting more press. he's averaging about 15-5-5 in games that he's started and since the all-star break he's been doing about as good as gordon (granted, he has had about 10 more minutes a game). if he had been like this the whole season i think he'd be right up there in contention for the award.

anywho, as far as the rookie of the year goes, if it were up to me i'd give it to both of them, like they did with brand and francis.

Congratulations to Emeka Okafor for winning the Rookie of the Year. He edged out Ben Gordon in a close race. Gordon ended up becoming the first rookie to win the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award. Both players are going to be stars for a long time.
