Getting to know one of K1 Max's Rising Superstars

This case is no different as our John Walters was recently able to speak with rising Armenian K-1 Max Superstar Gago Drago. BK: Tell us a bit about yourself. where you are from and currently live,
and just some basics on your fighting background for our readers if you could please?
GD: I’m Gago Drago, 21 years old, Armenian and now living in Holland. I
started my Thai boxing training 7 years ago here in Holland
BK: It seems like you use alot of energy for those high power fight
entrances. Does it really hype you up for fight time or is it just your style?
GD: It accomplishes some of both
BK: What do you think of the current champion Buakaw PorPramuk?
do you think stylistically you match up well with him?
GD: When I think about him, I think if I stylistically can match up
with him… time will tell.
BK:Now that you are in K-1, is the MAX title high on the importance list
of career goals?
GD: At this moment its my most important goal.
BK:.Who do you feel would be your best style matchup in the eliminations?
GD: Anybody who’s up for a real fight.
BK:.Now who would you actually WANT to fight in the eliminations?
GD: It doesnt matter to me, Ill fight anyone.
BK: Tell us a bit about your training and preparation for a K-1 MAX
fight..Tell us a bit about where you train and who you train with.
GD:I train everyday. For me it doesn’t matter what kind of fight it is,I
always train the same. In both Alkmaar and Amsterdam. I have some very good training partners including Kaas, Schneider, Edwin, Romeo and Fritz.
BK: Whats the biggest difference from fighting in Holland compared to
fightng in Japan for you?
GD: In Japan its more professional than in Holland.
BK:.Where do you prefer to fight or does it even matter?
GD: It does not matter, I like fighting in both countries equally.
BK:.What would say was the toughest fight in your career so far?
GD: My first career bout against Stephan Vecelic.
BK: Your toughest win to achieve?
GD: That very first fight I had against Stephen Vecelic
BK : Your toughest loss to accept?
GD: That was against Ondrey “ Speibel “ Hutnik
BK:.Who are some people you look up to in your life? any inspirations?
GD: My Father is my main inspiration
BK: Is there anything you would like to say to your fans out there?
