...Look like a couple of guys working in a Washington DC McDonald's. Not legitimate Heavyweight "heirs to the crown". I know the boxing media is desperate to shed some kind, any kind, of positive light on the HW division but let's face it - these guy's AREN'T marketable...
the HW division, imo - is on critical life support.

JTT, they certainly are rough around the edges, but you have to consider that these two men are still up-and-comers (though Brock seems to be wasting no time at all stepping up in competition--he went directly from beating a top 30 guy in Etienne, to beating a fighter who was around the 9th or 10th spot in McCline). I chuckled at your DC McDonalds comment, and I agree, but I also feel that it's still a little too early to tell whether or not either of them could fit the billing of "heir to the crown."
I gotta tell you, though, being marketable won't be a problem for Sam and Calvin, i don't think. A heavyweight boxer with a big punch can always be marketed.

A highlight Reel of Peter's KO's will market him. Brock I am more unsure of.
James Toney will be good for the HW division. Simply because he will run his mouth and make some noise.

I don't know. I look at them both and go... "meeeeeeeeeeehh...." they have no "it" factor, no one in the HW division does anymore I don't think. Even the Klit twins are, I dunno. Bland.
I'm losing hope!

without question the lower weight divisions are where all the excitement is right now.
Barrera, Pacman, Morales, Tszyu, Mayweather, Judah, Gatti. all Welterweight and under. That's where it is at right now. We'll cycle through this the HW's will rise again, but now it's time for the little guys to shine.

For sure. "It" factor standards in the division aren't what they used to be. At the bare minimum, though, casual fans will usually go for a HW with a punch. Who's your favorite boxer ever?
