We'll be hosting Pick 'Em contests for Mixed Martial Arts, and eventually most likely boxing also.
What's the deal? Glad youa asked.
The points system will be as follows -
1-) You get one point for calling the winner of a fight.
2-) You may get further bonus points by adding the round and method of the victory.
IE - If you call Randy Couture vs. Chuck Liddell as a TKO, round 3... and that's how it goes down - you get 3 points.
All KO's, ref stoppages and TKO's count as TKO.
All methods of submission be it corner stoppage or actual submission count as a SUB.
All decisions count as a decision.
In case of a draw, the person who submitted their picks earliest (by PM to an Admin - no public posting of picks please.) gets the nod.
Now, prizes will come down the line, but for now what would you people prefer as a reward? Bear in mind - the winner will be expected to defend his title, if someone dethrones him or her at the following event - he or she loses their prize!
