JZ has faced much better competition over the past three years, Caol Uno is better than Chris Brennan methinks. Still, this will be a close fight and I don't know whether JZ's bull power jitz will be able to take out Shaolin's speed jitz.

They can sign some relevant fighters but without relevant opponents it really doesn't matter that they are fighting. It's good for the fighters financially but as far as the fans go we are left with far less than compelling matchups.

Yeah I saw CC/Minowa but Minowa vs Schilt would almost remind me of that hilarious Shoji/Schilt match back in PRIDE a few years ago. I would say Minowa stands a better chance of beating Schilt although I wouldn't put my money on it. Still its a fight I would like to see and if Minowa could pull off an upset that would be amazing.

Kharitonov/Overeem is an interesting match-up. I give the slight edge to Kharitonov but its a toss up still a very close fight for me to call. I'm really looking forward to this fight these are two guys I always enjoy watching fight. I also understand Kharitonov will be fighting under K-1 rules matches in the future which should be interesting. He fought for Tajikistan in the Olympics for boxing and has good hands but against the elite in K-1 he will have trouble. Its not the first time two fighters from Golden Glory have fought so i'm not surprised.

I wonder when Sokoudjou will be fighting? Probably not at this event seeing as how close it is but hopefully they can keep give him an exciting match-up maybe Akiyama, Manhoef or someone like that. He could fight at HW also in MMA.

What's your thoughts on the show? Personally the Uno fan in me is hoping for a big showing from him, but realistically I'm thinking JZ crushes both Shaolin and Uno on his way to being the #1 LW in the world. I'm thinking Sergei/Alistair and Silva/Manhoef should provide some fireworks, and I'm looking forward to Sik showing his continued improvement against Zelg, and more importantly proving me right when I said that Page's decision over him was actually a hard fought and well deserved victory over a tough opponent.
