Ireland's John Duddy will face off against Prince Arron tonight in what's to be a tuneup fight for John before he faces Kelly Pavlik for the world middleweight title in January. The fight will be broadcasted for free on http://www.rte.ie/live/

Weigh ins.

Prince Arron: 11 stone 8lbs.

Stream will begin at 9pm (GMT) (4pm Eastern I think).

What gimmick? "Bernard Dunne and John Duddy suck but Andy Lee rules" is not a gimmick. It's a fact of life. You should be happy you've got one future champion stunna on your national side.

Andy Lee would kill Duddy, though.

This tan guy that's fighting right now reminds me of Rocky Balboa when he fought Spider Rico, sans the holding and hitting. 'Cept I think this guy's getting knocked out.

Look, I agree Lee is a better boxer than Duddy.

Macklin is a bad mother fucker, Furlan is getting battered.

And MSIA - it's every thread I ever create, you've always something to say. Duddy doesn't suck, christ - he's fighting for the world title in January. He might not be the best in the world, but he's a good fighter. Just leave it be.

Macklin would impress me more if he was in with a guy who had any real intentions of fighting.

I wouldn't base a fighter's credibility on getting a title shot... I mean, Ray Austin fought for a title...

Duddy wins, TKO second round. He knocked Arron down late in the first round, then dropped him twice in the second - referee stopped the fight.
