as i was waiting and hoping for a telecast of the winky-tito fight (which never came), i saw instead sergio fighting in his 9th pro fight against damone wright in a 6 rounder.
for such an inexperienced young pro, sergio was very relaxed and well composed during the fight. he had very nice combos, high punch output, was attacking moving forward, as well in-fighting using the ropes he leaned on. very nice movement, defense, slips. extremely talented and an intelligent fighter in the ring. he won a very easy decision against a stepping-stone type of fighter.
the only thing this guy doesn't have is power; if he did, he'd be very, very dangerous. hope he wins it all in contender. :)
(and for those who know who's in the finals before they show the next episode, please don't tell).
