So here is one for you all.

We are all betting single fights.

Well every show the UFC gives an award for the "TAP OUT OF THE NIGHT" award.

So, bet it bitches.
The stakes will be as follows.
40-1 for a sub artist.
50-1 for an all around guy.
75-1 for a stiker.

The long shots.... If you pick a striker(such as Eilers) @ 75-1 to win the tap out of the night award. If you bet 1000 you'll get 75,000 points back for your win.

Not to fucking bad eh?

Have some fun with the stakes, make some points back from this vbookie event.

*NOTE* WITH A FEW HOURS LEFT TO BET, 4 FIGHTS HAD LESS THAN 1000 BET ON THEM SO THEIR ODSS WERE INCREASED TO 100-1!!!!!!!!!!!!*

Griffin by triangle.

I'd assume he's an all around guy. DO we get bonus points for specific technique?

no bonus for technique.
but huge payout.

btw this is the award Dana White gives out at the press conference.

also for the long shots... if we see 2-3 guys not getting as much action. I'll increase them to 100-1 tomorrow night.

I think guys that are big underdogs should be higher. Like Serra, even though he's BJJ, if he tapped out Karo in any form that would be worthy. Same for McCarthy.

Are you going to list who is considered what type of fighter?

You could always just look at the odds and figure it out

I'm gonna wait til the last minute for this one. Build up some more pts and then throw em down on a wild hunch.

Remember whenever a TITLE CHANGE happens via sub they are usually the auto TOOTN winner

If you bet 100 points on everyone of the 16 fighters you are guaranteed to make over 2000 points.

dy-no-mite3000
06-02-2005, 09:53 PM
nate that is true, but at the same time this bet was made so people if they wish to go balls deep could walk out with 75000 ot even 150,000points off a 2000 point bet of a 71-1

natecrime

That is why I will only be making two large bets WAR Karo!!

Ratt

OB Juan

They always do right at the end of the PV, BUT that IS a good question.

then ill choose the option for no winner and everyone gets their points back automatically.

Damn dude. You're pretty confident in Chainsaw, eh. I do like the fact that he's a finisher, but he hasn't realy fought any big names yet. I must admit I'm anxious to see this guy and see if the Crow's training w/ Rush and Cote will help him avoid a sub.

Win or lose, I hope if he puts on a good performance the UFC has him back. You can never have too much talent.

Buentello's submission defence is fuckin' crazy. he was gettin out of the tightest armbars and leg locks before finally getting caught in that kneebar against Ricco. i don't see him getting subbed in the UFC just yet.

DuFF BooZe
06-03-2005, 02:08 AM
...and i have 15 on Karo, 15 on Diaz and 20 on Arlovski (i think).

yep, high roller.

you can't give Buentello all the credit that night....remember, the event was outside and it was raining. so, the rain was definately a factor for him getting out of most subs. didn't he also get saved by the bell in the first?

OB Juan
06-03-2005, 06:37 AM
the heavy underdogs ill definatly increase.

So if I bet on an underdog already and his odds go up, do I get the odds that I bet on or do I get the better odds offered later?

dy-no-mite3000
06-03-2005, 06:56 AM
you get the FINAL odds.
I will not decrease the odds, only increase if need be.

btw Bishops 1500 in bets towards McCarthy makes him a favourite and his odds will stay the same.

yeah, he did. it was the end of te first round, Ricco had Buentello's arm fully extended in a perfect armbar and right as Ricco got more leverage on the limb; end of round. Buentello showed a lot of heart in that fight, but he still came up short.

OB Juan

who won?

Buentello got TOOTN for his one armed guillotine (I still think it was more of a neck crank that made him tap).

Paul is one of the few fighters I didn't put a bet down on for this. Damn lazy mexicans can't finish the fight with a KO he has to slap on a sloppy ass guillotine
