I really wish that more organizations would showcase Muay Thai in their MMA events.
Great work covering the event. Pics look good too.

Honestly I enjoy the fights, but they slow the pace of the show to a standstill. The long ring entrances, and the pre-fight dance took longer than the bouts, and two of those went the distance.
I know tradition is important, but the promoter should encourage the fighters and camps to be ready to roll. If they need the long entrance, then they should shorten their ring blessing, or be ready to enter the ring and start the prayer promptly. 3 bouts took over an hour with only 14 minutes of action.

I remember that from covering the Throw Down in O-town events. Very long pre fight dances, and each fighter would finish their dance before the other one was even introduced. I did attend an event once where they had no pre fight dance. It was an old Freedom Fight event in Gatineau. They had the one thai fight, no dancing, and it was probably fight of the night, or at the very least tied for FOTN with Wagnney Fabiano vs Matt Fiordirosa.

Good deal. Wish it wasn't so far to travel for me. I need to take another road trip with A-marz.

Yep, these were with a very low end SLR. I'll have to look at the model when I get home. Got it on sale for $299. I like it, but it goe4s through batteries very quickly.

Nice. They turned out pretty damn good.
I finally bought my own camera, I got a Fuji S5. I use it for work occasionally depending on the job, but most of the time I get to use my boss's D3 or D3x which are both totally fucking awesome.

Thanks.
The great thing about digital is I can shoot 50 pics and only post the 5 that aren't blurry.
