According to his twitter account, Acadiana native and former Olympian wrestler Daniel Cormier is on his way to Australia to take on Lucas Browne saturday night at the XMMA 2 event in Sydney.

Cormier defeats Browne, TKO via strikes on the ground, Round 1. Reportedly Cormier took down Browne quickly, mounted, hit him with some big shots and the ref stepped in. I'm not linking to the only page I found with that description though because their ads were so annoying I had to view source to read the story.

This takes Cormier to 3-0.

Northside High alumni Daniel Cormier dominated his Australian foe Lucase Browne. Cormier used his wrestling skills to take down the 6'5" Browne and pounded on his opponent with punches till he was victorious.
