Long time MMA veteran and Nola resident Rich Clementi (39-17-1) lost friday night at Titan FC: 16 in Kansas City, KS. Clementi stepped in as a last minute replacement for Alonzo Martinez to face Aaron Derrow (8-2). Clementi controlled the action for the first two rounds maintaining a variety of top positions and using effective ground and pound to bloody the face of Derrow. Clementi looked to be in route to a unanimous decision victory when Derrow slapped on a triangle choke from the bottom in the closing minutes of the fight. Clementi didn't defend the submission and was choked unconscious.
