This may not be for everyone but i figured it might draw a little interest. The US Open is being played at Pinehurst No2 this week. This is the first time the tournament has returned to the course since the death of Payne Stewart. I figured i would gice the chances of 4 top guys and then a set odd for the field to win. Best of luck to all

Tiger Woods- Probably the favorite at the moment. Won the Masters this year and seems to have regained a fair amount of his old form

Vijay Singh-Has a chance to win week in and week out and is one of the hardest practicing/working golfers on tour. This victory would just add on to what is a HOF resume now even in Tiger's shadow

Ernie Els- Past US Open Champion. Has played very well in Europe but it hasnt really translated into tons of success this year on tour. He is looking to maintain his place among the big 4 triumverante of Golfers.

Phil Mickelson- Lefty finally got the duck off his back last year major wise winning the Masters. The question is does he have the consistency though to put it together for 4 rounds on what will be a brutally tough Pinehurst course?

shouldn't the field have the best odds to win?

Damn, I got here too late! The field is a sure winner. Retief Goosen will probably win. He should not have been put with the rest of the field. Afterall, he is the defending champion. Looks like I missed out on a prime money making chance. I would have bet at least 5,000 on the field.

There are going to be alot of rich people in this thread. Did nate22 really put 50 g's down on the field? Man, he is going to be the the richest person on BK if he wins.

only 5 golfers are under after 2 rounds. I know the defending champ Retief Goosen shot par yesterday, but is still tied for first

pinehurst is a very tough course. alot of turtle shell greens

SHIT!!!! Too late again (I missed putting cash on the pistons by an hour). I noticed this yesterday but was in a hurry.

We need more events to bet on. We should have done the Michael Jackson trial and other shit like that. I don't care what it is, I just like gambling.

but they did do a vbookie on the michael jackson case

we need to open up the vbookie's much earlier than a day or 2 hours before an event. MMA, BK has that down to a science, but all these other sporting events and current events, we know of this before hand and they should be opened at least a few days to a week in advance

Goosen up 3 shots on -3, Tiger woods on +3 six shots behind, Vijay Singh +4, Phil Mickelson +8 an Ernie Els +9, looking like this could be easy monay.

Well, Retief Goosen has done the improbable and choked big time. Michael Campbell is in the lead at 1 under. Tiger is in second at 2 over. If Campbell doesn't choke as well, he should get the win. There are a bunch of possibilities left and 4 holes to go. I still feel confident that everyone will get rich, but it is going to be close and it might go down to the last hole.

Campbell won! It was close, but he pulled it off. Congrats. to all the people who won. Maybe we can have the same choices for next tournament and I can get I on some of the action.
