i don't get the whole change someone elses text feature in the store. why would i pay 12 thousand to change a text that they can just undo in 5 seconds? it seems like such a waste. can there not be some time limit that you have to sport the new text before you can change it back? or maybe have to pay to change it back if someone has changed yours?

Exactly. As soon as Uber ceased to honour the custom text I bought for him, I changed mine as well. The idea is pointless without a time restriction.

or at the very least of financial restriction. there is a change your own text feature in the store for 1275 or so. now why would anyone buy that when they can just change their's for free at will?

remove custom text from profile options, therefore you'd have to pay each time to change it. many people will not like that.

or 2 leave it the way it is.

Having a custom text is not a right dyno, it's a privilige. I for one would like people to earn their fucking bread around here, instead of being force fed all the riches a forum can offer. I remember admiring, ADMIRING, all those fucks at the dog with tiny little avatars, black belts, and custom texts. And now, it's all about wall to wall avatars that take ten minutes to load, rainbow colored usernames, and fancy pant custom texts.

Btw, LMFAO at SH5. That is the fucking eptimome of excess. Sometimes I can barely find the post, among the myriad of flickering gif's. It's like wandering into Vegas. Great example of what happens when you're deprived of the little things for so long.

Anyway, all this to say, make it hard. Make it damn hard.

i like the way you think, do you feel it would be sherdog-esq to make custom text etc a reachable goal? one of our first selling points was, you get to do these things right away, custom text etc.
