as someone stated before, he really does look worse than evan tanner.
oh hell yeah, way worse IMO. refs did a horrible fucking job that night. they should have stepped in when the Doctors didnt stop it. beatings like that dont need to happen. they checked on a blind Saku more than once and let it go. fucked.

Man that sucks! Saku needs to retire, I agree. I'd also agree that Arona's dialed it up a bit lately. He's been pretty agressive. I haven't seen this fight, but I'm guessing the same goes for this one...

However my bet on Arona to win the tourney is looking better :)
The ref shoulda just stopped the fuckin fight. any other human being woulda known that you stop a fight if somebody cannot see. Clearly Saku could not fucking see and they kept lettin the fight go. sickening man.

I couldn't agree more.
But the crowd LOVES him there, for the ref to stop the fight would mean certain death. Probably hoped Saku could pull a miraculous submission.

thats what i am worried about. i understand Saku is an extremly popular japanese fighter, but i mean, you cant look at the situation like that when someone is blinded. you stop the fight.
He fought like a warrior poet, but that hurts to look at.

I've got 8 minutes 'til the dl is done and I'm no longer sure I want to watch...
That fight was insanity ... probably Pride wants a Japanese hero to die in the ring fighting for honor ...
Sak knows how to tap out. I wouldn't have stopped it if I were a ref.

his face looks bad, but the shots he took never looked brutal.
Damn, makes me wanna cry. Arona did a fuckin number on him. As much as I love Sak I think it's time to seriously think about retirement.
