Sergei vs Hunt is a nutbuster. Yoshi vs Kondo for reserve fight is complete horseshit, but i figured it would happen to guaruntee a Japanese fighter still has something to do with the GP. Fedor vs CC...i will just wait and see with that one. Sergei vs Hunt though has me drooling.

Hunt/Sergei won't happen. Sergei wouldn't have enough time to train and Hunt'll still be on the shelf for a lil' bit.
damn, what is hunt injured from? ive obviously forgotten...

he stopped a hummer with his forehead.
actually if I recall it's a case of broken hand / gimpy ankle. Nothing serious but I don't think he'll be ready in time, besides DSE rarely has guys fight back to back shows, especially if there's other guys fighting on the card (Cro-cop) who also were on the last show...

Lil Nog seriously deserves to be in the reserve match. That was the closest fightof the tourney, and a Lil Nog Yoshida matchup would be not only cool but fair.

Hidehiko Yoshida x Yuki Kondo / Kazuhiro Nakamura (Tournament Reserve Fight)
What a lame attempt to get a Japanese fighter in the finals. It should be Rogerio and somebody who lost in the last round (Igor > Nakamura/Saku IMO). I doubt Yoshida and Nakamura fight each other anyhow and I think either of them would control Kondo on the ground.

can someone pm me rua/nog for fuck's sake!? I need to see this.
he stopped a hummer with his forehead.
you should have just stopped there, cause when Hunt is the man that is totally believable. Thanx for the info.

I think Hunt would take some brutal GnP before the ref stops the fight if he faced Sergei... unless Sergei decided to stand like he did vs Rizzo, then it could definitely go either way.
check wamrage's streamline account. he said he was gonna upload that fight to the mailbox last night and that it would be done in the morning.

the rumor truly is a shame that Rogerio may not even be on this card. how can a fighter who lost via JD in 2nd round be out while 2 fighters lost via JD in the first round and another fighter who was TKO'ed/KO'ed be brought back as reserves and may get in to the finals? if there's an injury and 1 of those 3 get in, that's it for me and my MMA watching days
meh, stuff like that only flies in PRIDE though. they should just do it how K-1 does, and allow the loser of the previous fight go ahead if he is able to. survivor rule.

no kidding. where in my post did i say they DIDNT do that? i suggested they need to change that shit because of bullshit fighters that dont deserve a chance to be the reserve.

Card looks sooooooooo sick
I think having anyone in the reserve who lost in the tourney is BS.

Yeah, you talk tough. I don't think you're fooling anybody around here though.
WAR ROGERIO!!!!!!111
I also really need to see this fight sooner than later. Unanimous decisions usually mean they had a pretty clear winner. I could see Shogun getting an early stoppage but I figured as the fight went on that Rogerio should have been able to take over. Props to Shogun regardless.
