View Full Version : CHH was this a bad idea for working out?

Well @ the gym today I wanted to get alot done in a short ammount of time.

So I would do 1 rep of say mylegs... then switch and do an upper... then back and forth.
I would also alternate the machines so I would do calves, then theighs, curls etc while doing the uppers I did my tris, then back, then chest etc.

I also went back and did a second round of the machines. All in all in about 30 mins I did two reps of all the majors. I had a good sweat and heart rate going as well.


So smart or should I never do it again?

BTW I've been doing what FightIre1 said to do. I do a general workout everytime rather than doing upper one day and lower the next time.

sorry my bad i suck @ terms.

i did one set of reps... usually 15-20 repetitions per machine befor egoing to the next.

Usually I would do 3 sets and if I wa sstrugglign with the second rep ill cut 10 pounds for the third.

Better than nothing, OK for conditioning i reckon. what are you goals. If you want, I'll design you a specific routine

Wanna drop 15-20. If I drop 20 Ill be 152 though and only 5 foot 6.
I have some muscle def in my arms back and legs got a lil gut though, so get lean and get some good muscle def.

When i was in hs i was 210 so I cut myelf down over the years but have been stuck @ 175-178 for atleast2 yrs now.

i havent tried your full body

usually i get to go once a week.

this week i went twice

i want to start going 2-3 times a week.

damn that dedication and time is a bitch

damn that dedication and time is a bitchwell, see the cool thing about my full body routine is it's fullbody, so if you miss you don't you don't miss bodyparts. You just miss volume. I'd try that, it was targeted at people like yourself with limited time and time under the bar. If you want me to make you something new and exciting, I surely can. It doesn't take much time for me, and only takes a few dollars out of my pocket as I'm not a pro yet
