Does anyone have any tips to improve footwork?

Get a biggggggg tire, like one off an old big dump truck. Lay it flat on the ground, and (facing the inside of the tired) do a jab, then move around the tire a ways, jab cross, then move around the tire a ways in the opposite direction, jab, cross, hook. Do this moving around the tire after every combo. Add kicks/knees etc.

SKIPPING
Skipping is a great way to build endurance and improve footwork. Skipping will help with being light on your feet when fight. Skipping is a great way to warm-up and cool-down after the training session.
SHADOWBOXING
Shadowboxing is used to learn the skills of boxing. Practising your style in front of a mirror and focusing on defense skills, correcting techniques and watching for 'open areas' is highly beneficial to one's boxing style and instinctive skill. To make shadowboxing work the boxer must have a mental picture of their opponent.
SPARRING
Without a doubt sparring is the most important part of training; it's where fighters learn and practice their skills before stepping into the ring. For beginners it's a controlled boxing match where boxers trade in a free give-and-take at a measured pace. Your performance in sparring will be based on how well you work on skills in the other parts of your training. For a new boxer sparring maybe the first time their have every faced an opponent who's wanting to hurt them, so care must be taken not to take advantage of the new-comer. Remember sparring is about learning and improving on boxing skills not who can hurt the other guy. Save that attitude for the real boxing match.
Before sparring begins discussion regarding how hard each boxer is going to spar is established. Picking a pace for sparring is a good way of introduce novice to sparring, something like "50%" or "75%" of full speed.
Sparring can be a lot fun and its unbelievable adrenalin rush can be very addictive; it will improve your boxing like no-other training method. With an experienced trainer and the right sparring partner you will learn more about boxing in one sparring session then you will in 3 months of normal boxing training.

1. Keep your weight balanced on both feet.
2. Stay on the balls of your feet so you can attack, spin or retreat quickly to safety.
3. Practice moving side to side or in a circular motion around your opponent.
4. Shift and shuffle your feet quickly, but keep them close to the ground so you have a solid base under you.
5. Switch stances often when training. This means you'll change which foot is in front.
6. Work your calf muscles by jumping rope, biking and doing bag drills while moving constantly.
Just some stuff that I have read that I found useful, and I hope you do some of this stuff too.

One of the best ways to increase your foot speed and footwork in general is to use one of those step ladders that you lay on the ground.

one thing u can do is to watch slick guys like Floyd Mayweather Jr. and see how they move.
for drills, the above stuff is good. Also remember to be on the balls of your feet, and not flatfooted. Even if ur not a slick boxer, u can still benefit from being on "springs", instead of heavy logs w/o bouncing around like a rabbit (even though the best slicksters dont' actually bounce around ironically). It helps to think of the "spring" image, be light on ur feet.
