It will be at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Undercard feature bout is Miguel Cotto vs Gianluca Branco for Cotto's WBO belt. I think i might have to go check this one live because there is almost no way that Peter fight ends in a decision. I hope Peter whips Wlad and finishes him as a legit contender

I've only seen Peter a couple of times. Can he handle being hit?

dunno, but wlad can't

go peters! i dont think he'll ever quit cause he knows that wlad will go down from one punch

Honestly i could not tell ya. He hasnt been in with any real tough punchers. Thats what will make this fight exciting though

Hmmm, interesting. At first I thought you meant Vitali, I was like wtf??

Why does everyone get down on Wladdy. 3 years ago he was the heir, now a bum? Just cause he can't take a punch? Has no heart and generally sucks??

Hmmm... waitasecond...

tams pretty good w/ predictions (as long as you dont tell him the odds)

he's saying wlad will jab peters to death, at -260 i can't really bet on peters also

if peters gets down to -150 i'll bet on him
he's got alot of momentum, and i dont think he'll quit against wlad because he knows wlad is chinny, so that always gives peters a shot

wlad's a better boxer than peters, but imma go with clubbing right hand shots

Such a big fight ofr Wlad. He really needs this one, and I believe he will get it. Wlad in the position of Baroni, where everyone writing him off and he's being used as fodder for Peter. I'd hate being the favorite in this fight.

TTT. I wanna hear from the delusional Klitschko fans. Sam may be a big slow guy but that fucking punch of his is gonna put Wlad's lights out. WAR PETER!

:::Eagerly Anticipates VBookie:::

You fellas should set it up so you can bet not only on the victor, but how... Hopefully I can get a better return on Peter taking advantage of that glass jaw. Is it too much to hope that they fight in a 6x6 ring like the Corrie Sanders fight?

Remember guys, no one yet knows if Peter can take a punch from a real heavyweight, either. I know Wlad's chin is china....but I also have a feeling that Wlad hits harder than Peter and is actually a talented fighter, to boot.

Peter is in for a rough night, if its not a short one.

peter definetly isnt guarenteed a win but ill throw my support behind him full bore. This current crop of heavys is just so dull and unispiring or has some sort of mental issues for the most part. It would be nice to see a couple of guys just come in and clean house andf take names, liven it up again. Brock and Peter are the two i hope can do this

i pretty sure that wlad could take a hit but, wlad usually gas by punching himself out. wlad puts alot of power to his hits then he gets burnout. i really don't who peter is but, if he can last couple rounds, he can win for sure.

Undercard bout will be full of fireworks too with Cotto now defending against undefeated power puncher Ricardo Torres. I dont know much about torres other than he has a high KO percentage. I bet he hasnt faced a guy with Cotto's pop before and ill take Miguel to KO him

I'm going with Klitschko (sp) on this one. I think he'll be able to outbox Peter.

heres something i forgot to bring up. what is the ideal fighting weight for these fellas? what weight would be a warning sign to a possible bad performance on saturday for either guy?

i haven't dropped a bet on this one, although i'm eager to check out this vbookie system. i haven't seen enough of Peters to know anything more that he's bring power to the fight, but so will Wlad. we'll see who's chin goes first.

Well they are fighting in 24 hours. Who you taking? I think there are alot of x factors in this one. I think if Bad Wlad let's his hands go and feeds Peter a healthy serving of over hand rights, he could get a early shower.

If the big Nigerian comes in and forces a fast paced blow trading fight, he can get the Ukraine out.

I think I am going to take Klitchko in this one. I just think he is the better fighter, has more experience and has physical height/reach advantages.

Please share your thoughts.

Im gonna merge this with the thread already open. Im gonna say Peter puts the pressure on him early and gets a KO not later than round 4. Until he proves otherwise, I dont think Wlad has the fortitude to stand up to pressure

now this is some fucked up gamesmanship by Wlad's camp IMO. From Fightnews

n what New Jersey State Athletic Commissioner Larry Hazzard described as a "new level of dumb," Team Wladimir Klitschko demanded that the boxing gloves to be used tomorrow night, when the former WBO champion faces Samuel Peter at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, be weighed to ensure they are the regulation 10 ounces. As expected, both sets of gloves weighed in earlier today at the ten-ounce limit. According to Hazzard, he was contacted by Klitschko adviser Shelly Finkel, public relations advisor Bernd Bonte and K-2 Promotions coordinator Burt Watson and told that Klitschko's camp would be bringing a small scale to today's undercard weigh-in (the main event weigh-in was held yesterday) to ensure there was nothing irregular about the weight of either fighter's gloves?an implication that enraged glove manufacturer Grant Elvis Phillips who stated that Tean Klitschko's request crossed the line

If he's scared he should just say so.

Are we really sure Wlad isn't Brazilian? Maybe he should wear blue tape to this fight.
