12 million dollars to the winner. Vitali will get over 7 million, with Rahman bringing over 4. Don King bid 11 million, and did not expect Arum to bid. An exec with Top Rank showed up literally as the process began, and dropped the suprise bid to win the heavyweight title fight.

The Klitchko brothers, having their own promotion, bid slightly over 10 million. Don King, Rahman's promotor, was not available for comment. I imagine he went and beat a homeless guy to death. We all know how King works, would've held up the fight trying to force rematch and title defense clauses on Vitali. HBO was wanting to show the bout on HBO only, but didn't want it PPV'd, as they already have a full fall schedule. Top Rank plans to PPV it anyways, as it will be a large draw both in the U.S. and Germany. I read that HBO wanted the bout to take place in Germany (which seems like bad Karma after what happened to Wladimir), but being PPV'd puts it out of the question.

For the record, FUCK DON KING.

A PPV could be done in Germany i think. Its only a five hour difference and the Hatton/Tszyu fight was done late at night to showcase in front of a prime time audience here. I dont think a fight in Germany bodes well for Rahman but who knows? Last time he fought outside of the country he pulled one of the bigger upsets in boxing history. If he fights like he did last saturday night, Vitali will put a serious beating on him

BTW Beverly i gave you 5000 points to use for betting purposes. We have a system called VBookie which we use here to put wagers on MMA/K1, Boxing and selct sporting events. These points can also be used to buy items in our store. The only boxing match up for betting right now is Fernando Vargas/Javier Castillejo but you can bet on all the UFC fights if you like. Check all them out in the vbookie forum

It goes without saying that you're the man. Your bookie forum doesn't happen to have Tra Telligman as the favorite over Sylvia like the tards at betodessa, do you? Cause that's MONEY IN THA BANK. Vargas is shot, btw. That Tito Trinidad "loaded glove" beating put him out to pasture.

i tend to agree about Vargas being shot. I think Castillejo is a very live underdog in that fight and even if he does get through, Mayorga is gonna put a royal beating on him

Something I never brought up on Sherdog, and really didn't even search... Have you guys discussed the whole "illegal taping of the left hand" thing with Tito during his dominant run? I was always afraid of being banned by Tam-Tam, so I just stay the hell out.

no. go ahead and start the thread here if you like. i dont see why Tam would have banned you for it. He only bans folks for blatant fighter bashing. He posts here too so he might be able to answer your question
