The fight is showing as scheduled for November the 12th. However Judah issued this charming little press clip today. From fightnews:

"Welterweight champion Zab Judah says Floyd Mayweather Jr. is showing disrespect by avoiding him. Judah feels Mayweather spent an inordinate amount of time and effort focusing on attempting to move up two weight divisions to 154 pounds to face Winky Wright. Those protracted negotiations fell apart on Tuesday. "I don't understand why Floyd spent all this time trying to make a fight with Winky," Judah said. "I am the undisputed welterweight world champion?just seven pounds heavier than Floyd?and he wants to move to 154 and face a man with no titles? I don't get it."

I for one would enjoy watching this bout. Id root for floyd to make Zab do the Baby Giraffe dance again. Can a focused Judah however give PBF trouble? Lets hear some thoughts

Judah could give Floyd trouble because he is physically bigger and stronger and hits harder IMO and is close as far as speed, talent and ability. The thing is Flyd is better defensively, is quicker and much smarter in the ring IMO. I think Floyds ring smarts and overall skillset will get him through this fight without eating any big bombs from Judah and he will win a comfortable decision. If Spinks could outbox Judah then Floyd certainly will.

There ain't NOTHING certain about this fight, IMO. Judah has the right style to really trouble Mayweather.

Floyd has fought one southpaw as a pro; Demarcus Corley and he had major trouble for a lil while with the left hand. Floyd's camp knows he isn't all that experienced with them and so does Zab. All it would take is one flush left hand and Floyd's undefeated career would be finished.

This is a major league championship fight.

Aside from the fact Zab is a NY'er... I seriously think that Zab has overcome his troubles in his career, and learned from his mistakes. He is probably for th enext 2-3 years going to be as good as it gets, and as good as he'll ever be. This is his time to shine and his next 3-4 fights will show just that where I don't think Maywether could come in and effetively handle Zab like Zab had been handled at times in his career early on.

i dunno why people thought i was crazy when i first said Judah has the best chance to beat Mayweather.

the thing i see going against Judah is that while he's unorthodox and fast, he gets sloppy and opens himself up alot. He's going to have to be the bull in the fight, b/c i know his defense is an open book for Mayweather.

i heard that floyd and zab are suppose to be friends, so i expect the jabbering to be just for selling tickets, not really anything close to bad blood.

floyd consistently lands his quick, efficient, perfectly timed lead right against righties, so he'll have an even bigger target to land on, with zab being a lefty. and zab sticks his chin out, so he will get hit. zab's advantage is power and size, but at this stage of floyd's career, he shouldn't have that hard a time adjusting; he's already used to fighting bigger, stronger boxers. it took a little time for floyd to adjust to corley, but he later controlled him pretty easily.

floyd should take this ud, but i wouldn't be surprised if he ko's/tko's zab. the speed may be a bit comparable, but floyd's skill is at a different level.

floyd also has a long left hook that's thrown like a jab, so he might be able to control zab's direction with it. the way zab sometimes keeps his lead hand down, floyd might be able to do the loopy overhandish left jab/hook that morales was landing consistently on pac.

zab gets underated and overated. i think he's just a bit overated right now.

a scenario just popped into my head: if they are good friends, and if floyd thinks he's much better, i hope he doesn't go in there taking it easy on zab and carrying the fight.

PBF will take this one. Personally i'd like PBF to stay at 140 to fight Hatton.

yes, he should stay at 140 for hatton, and everyone else there ... zoo, cotto ... if harris makes a comeback; heck, i'd even enjoy watching him face mausa. :D there are also some good, young prospects for the late future.

well, if oscar decides to come back at welter, you know floyd will want that fight badly, and if he's the undisputed champ, would be forced to go through him to be champ. :)

Judahs' handspeed could cause PFB major problems when combined with his power. The higher in weight PFB goes, the less effective he will become. We've seen it with Moseley, De La Hoya and Trinidad. Boxers need to stay at a natural weight or face the consequences that there bodies will suffer. If they do fight i think it would be very close i'd have difficulty picking a winner.
