View Full Version : I think there should be some kind of concequence for getting a lot of negreps

I mean, if a poster gets LOTS of negreps, that probably means people don't appreciate him or his posts. Could you guys find some way to punish the people with a lot of negreps? For example, by never letting them post again? Or displaying their private information and IP address etc for everyone to see so that they can be tracked down and harassed and/or killed? Just a suggestion.

The whole rep thing is still in process, and we've talked about restricting what a person with very negative rep can do, but you have to bear with us for a while since it's all in the evolving process at the moment. But the rep system is to be used to give special users more privileges and off course, restrict hated users. That's one of the reasons it's there.

Alright look, he wasn't banned because of his many negative reps, he wasn't banned for what he did in bare knux, making people pissed at him etc. He was banned because he started trolling in the MMA forum WHILE he was still in standing eight. This is a bannable offense, clearly stated in the rules.

I don't see how you can object to WTC's banning when clearly that was what he wanted himself. Good, precise work by the admins. He wasn't banned until he broke the rules (I wouldn't have minded it if he had been, though), but when he did break them he swiftly got the axe. If Sherdog admins had worked this way then we'd probably all be posting over there and there might not even have been a bloodyknux.

Thank you! Keep this in mind, we don't care that bare knux has trolls or such as long as it is within the rules. HOWEVER, we have stated on several occasions that there is zero tolerance on bullshit in the combat sports forums.
