The man is a choke artist of the 1st order

all he had to do was not fuck up... that simple.. just NOT FUCK UP!!!

so whats does he do? anyone wanna guess.... take a wild fucking guess!!!!

he throws a ball to a totally covered reciever who isnt even looking for the ball yet, he throws is behind him.. oh.. and he throws it right to a fucking cowboy..

who promtly and easily runs it back for a TD

and to make things easier on Donovan... who obviously doesnt want to be an elite qb.. cant handle that pressure.. he gets blocked.. and then hurt on the same play.

then comes back in on the next series.. knowing he's hurt.. knowing he sucks
KNOWING!! he doesnt want the pressure or the responsiblity... and promtly wastes time and fucks up

then the 3rd string guys comes in.. and throws nothing but on target passes, but runs out of time.. time he could have used had McNabb just sat his choking black moron ass down

Rush Limbaugh... sucks being right.. and losing your job over it.. dont it?

the philadelphia eagles are the leading cause of cancer in the deleware valley

hahahaha, calm down. I'm a Bengals fan. If I made it through 1990-2004 without killing myself, you can handle this one bad season.

GO CARSON PALMER!!! BEST QB IN FOOTBALL!

I have always thought that Donovan wasn't a very accurate passer, but you know after the Rush Limbaugh deal it became racist to say he couldn't throw straight...

Look at recent Super Bowl champs:

Patriots: Tom Brady, drop-back passer.
Broncos: John Elway, drop-back passer.
Rams: Kurt Warner, drop-back passer.
Ravens: Trent Dilfer, drop-back passer.

See a pattern? Being mobile ought to be a plus, instead it's an excuse to not be able to perform the basics. "Oh, he's got INTANGIBLES" Whatever.

there's a reason none of his teammates stood up for him the last two years. that was a level 1 choke job

Yeah, its certainly very important that Dilfer was a drop back passer...he sure did a lot in that season. Its not like the Ravens went a month without an offensive TD that season. Not like his defense didn't win every game.

Also, if you put McNabb on that Rams team, he'd probably have won a Super Bowl, too.

I don't think Mcnabb should be playing right now. He's playing with major injuries. He has a torn abdominal muscle that needs surgery to be repaired, and he's also playing with a hernia. In the 1st quarter, he played fine. Then you could see as the game progressed....he was losing it. The drugs were wearing off, I guess. The guy's not the most accurate QB when healthy, then play him with major injuries and it gets a lot worse. Must be that Madden 06 curse coming back into effect.

IMO Andy Reid and his coaching staff are complete retards when it comes to dealing with an injured player. A guy could break his leg, hop off to the sidelines, tell Reid "yeah coach, I'm good to play." then Reid would have him in the huddle for the next snap even if the guy had to crawl out to the huddle. These guys are professionals, so of course they are going to say they are good to play even when they know they are hurt. But it's the coaching staff's responsibility to recognize this and tell said player he needs to rest. David Akers is a great example. Pops him hamstring early in the season. Instead of sitting him out, letting the hamstring heal for a week or two, Reid puts him out in the next game, and he aggrivates the injury, then ends up tearing his hamstring. He's back now, but limited to field goals, so it's still a problem for him. If the coaching staff sits him out a game or two after he pulled it in the 1st place....Todd France would fill in week 2 & 3 and Akers would be fine. When Mcnabb got fucked in week 1 with the Ab tear, tell him to get the surgery. He's out 6-8 games. You roll the dice with Mike McMahaon (since Koy Detmer only gets paid to hold snaps for the place kicker)....maybe you go 5-3, 4-4, even 3-5......then a healthy Mcnabb comes back and you go from there.

And fuck TO. I'd never want a guy like that on my team. The guy does not understand the concept of team. It's all about him. And anyone in the world that makes $7.5 million/yr and complains that they want more money so they "can feed their family" should be publicly executed.

and here's a funny ass cartoon about the Eagles... http://www.gridironfans.com/portal.php?page=90

I just want this clarified.

Are you saying that Mike McMahon is a better quarterback than Donovan McNabb?

Until he gets over that hump, I can't say he is an elite QB. However, it is really a matter of what you consider a good QB to be. Who's the best QB in the league? Well Peyton has the numbers and the smarts, but Brady wins Superbowls. I got to go with the guy who wins the big one and McNabb hasn't won shit.

you forgot to mention how he throws away the ball at critical moments, and never seems to have a clue what he's doing come clutch time

piss poor clock management, no touch passing skills, strong arms passes people cant catch, throws them to recievers feet, or behind them, he s never on the same page as his recievers.. as he seems to be on the wrong page half the time himself

the guy just doent have the mental chops to be an elite qb

he's another randall all over again.. cept now he cant run for shit

You missed out Brad Johnson and the bucs, but in fairness similarly to the Ravens we won that SB with defense.

just as long as McNabb chokes one last time come MNF vs. Seattle, I'll be a happy camper

I think McNabb is a good QB, you dont go through a whole year with a 100+ passer rating by being shit. He's a choke artist for sure, but his recent performance is due to the fact he's injured as shit, and has no real threats to the Defense at WR.

the choke last nite had nothing to do with his injury, he actually looked the best he has all season... till he choked

I remember the NFC title game two years ago, when everyone was ripping James Thrash as a shit reciever... That red-zone pass where the first down marker was at the two... Thrash is running a little hook, and takes a couple of extra yards to get into the end zone... Except McNabb threw the ball on the ground at the 3. The announcers were talking MAJOR SHIT about how Thrash was a fuckup, but no one asked why McNabb didn't realize that with time being critical, his reciever would take the route into the end zone? Or why McNabb threw such a shitty low pass anyway? Nobody in the NFL throws more passes where recievers have to fall down/get killed catching the ball than McNabb... At some point you simply have to be able to throw straight. Seriously.

McNabb has the skills, but he definitely can't handle pressure. Sort of a physical package w/o mental part. He'll never live down the Superbowl screwup, at least in Philly they'll never forget. Im still a die hard Eagle fan, but damn, it wouldn't be a bad idea to let the backup QBs have a shot, as we still have a damn good defense (Cowboys got lucky at the end after being shutdown the whole game pretty much w/ 3 n outs all over the place). As much shit as Owens does talk, he makes good points when people shut up and actually look at the big picture. He delivers teh goods, when its crunch time, unlike Mcnabb who chokes. Everyone thought he would mean shit come SB, but he still racked up a good amount of yards even tho he didn't get the ball enough. Eagles should still have Owens. Alot of players said they like Owens and they sure as hell didn't complain when he put up TDs that's for sure.

the most despicable part of it to me is how mcnabb didnt apologize after the game for pissing away his team's season. maybe its just the clip espn decided to show after the game, but he basically made out that roy williams made a colossal play. what a load of bullshit. did he ever come out and take the heat and espn just didnt show it?
