that's basically the whole story right there; he's been going to illegal poker clubs.

the few other details that have been given out are:

*he was seen hanging out with phil helmuth.

personally, i think it's fucking retarded when people make a big deal about shit like this. it always pissed me off when people claimed that micheal jordan had a gambling problem. it's like one of the guys on espn said today in regards to a-rod; losing $5000 in a poker game might seem like a big deal, but you with guys like a-rod and mj, they could lose that much in their couches and not even miss it. i could understand making a big deal out of this type of shit if they had bet themselves out of house and home, but to them it's basically the equivalent of one of us losing 5o cents at a poker game.

Probably because he is still making more money than God. And it's New York, where the papers live to beat the Hell out of any story of even minor interest.
