Yeah, who knows. I think Reggie Wayne said he was going to go wherever Peyton did. Not sure how easily that can happen, though.

My question is, why trade Tebow? Is it per his request? If not, then let him stick around and have P. Manning mentor to him. Look at what he did as just a running back playing QB. With some solid 1-on-1 coaching he could be something.

How do you guys feel your team did in the draft?

Very happy with what Minnesota did last night. Moving down a single spot for a crapload of picks from the browns to get they guy there were going to pick anyway was a great move.

I don't mind trading a 4th pick and moving up to get Harrison Smith either if they were afraid he might not be there before their pick in the 2nd. They still have 3 4th round picks I believe.

bucs took mark baron and doug martin. happy with their first rd.

i guess the browns told colt mccoy they wouldnt be drafting a qb in first round. then they drafted a qb. and now mccoy is gonna be traded. lol. thats dirty.

It's great Seattle has a pretty solid looking squad to go into the regular season, but damn are Seahawk fans idiots. To have to listen to them tell me that there are receivers on the team better than Wes Welker, that's when I just stopped listening and left.

I've been here for the past....too many years to count. It's been far too long since a rookie will be starting for the team (Zorn and Mirer). He's a very exciting player, hope nothing but the best for the kid and for the team.

Just moved some Fantasy football posts over to a new fantasy football thread for 2012. We had one last year and I liked the separation of the actual football discussion from the Fantasy aspect. I figure if you want to discuss who to start in week 1 etc, we can do that in the other thread. Keep this one for actual results/news/live game discussion etc.

Hes legit if motivated, and he's motivated this year by being in a competition for a spot. He cant be a WR1, but hes great in the slot.

He wont be what Laurent Robinson was last year, but he should be consistent.

Last year when I didn't know anything about football or fantasy, I started Ogletree when Bryant was out a game. My logic was solid, I think: Whoever goes in Bryant's spot will get just as many looks. He yielded me one point, which was enough to win that week by 1 point

Now look at him!

Bradshaw and Austin killed for me last night, although they did get off to a rough start.

Ive been telling everyone that Cruz will suck this year. I was glad to see him struggle. Last year was an anomoly.

I think Romo will make a star out of whomever is in that slot receiver position. He's making studs out of nobodies.

Last night he had some good receptions and one dropped ball, before I stopped watching, in the first half.

He dropped 4 balls last night that I know of. Most of his production last season was from big plays in which he was wide open because of busted coverages. Now he's on radar and those big plays will be few and far between. I think he'll have a couple big games this season, nothing like last season, and be completely inconsistent and disappointing for Giants fans.

Then again, I hate the Giants, so this is what I want to believe also.

the refs fucked up sooooo much today. omg. the cardinals very well could have got fucked if not for good defensive play. end of the game ruled. skelton gets hurt. kolb comes in, gets boo'd when he missed his first two. but then goes 6 for 6 n throws the go ahead td. he impressed me by not getting hurt and answering to adversity. end very end was weak. seattle was all out of time outs and the refs basically forgot and gave them a 4th when seattle accidentally called one. so instead of a 10 sec run off and the continuing of the clock running, they got a time out and 30 seconds to work with. luckily the cardinals stopped them and won 20-16. this ref problem needs to be fucking handled.

bucs also won their game. defense looked great. low scoring game. worried about blount going down as hes our power rusher, but doug martin performed well. had over 100 yards. but our passing game blew. we still have some work to do.
