apparently Glory announced some people being under contract already and they werent even signed yet. for example, K-1 has signed Robin van Roosmalen, which is a HUGE signing. hes one of the best at 70kg these days.

its kind of a running joke for me. i forgot which website it was, but they were advertising a card with braddock silva on it but had a picture of spider silva on it. an obviously home made poster but from all accounts, they were serious. spider silva was fighting. lol.

Braddock Silva is pretty dope though. I'd assume Ghita is the front runner for this tourney.

But still... no Buawkaw (he's apparently wanted to retire for years now) and Petrosyan in the MAX tourney, and no Badr Hari in the HW tournament (due to his retirement) is sad.

Pretty sweet tournament though, not complaining...just nostalgic.

Buakaw signed a contract with por.pramuk gym, and he isnt allowed to fight anywhere without their consent. they are currently suing buakaw. he has also breached their contract to fight somewhere in thailand recently and they are now pursuing jailtime for him from what i hear!

Yeah, a friend of mine was in Thailand recently and went to what was supposed to be a bareknuckle (well, no gloves. they'd have wraps or ropes or something on their hands) old school thai fight with Buawkaw and another guy. But Buawkaw never showed.

He gave me a poster from the event though, ha.

Petro is with glory exclusively. so no. he will not be fighting for K1. Buakaw's fight last week should not have even happened due to the contract he signed with Por.Pramuk gym. i know he left but hes gotten himself into some shit potentially by doing the fight.
