Uhhhh Valve just released a new CS on both Windows and Mac ... for all the Windows / console gamers this is a big 'whogivesafuck' but I got rid of my consoles and have been running Macs for the last 4 years so this is awesome for me!

Finally bit the PS3 bullet because two fried consoles later and with the 360 being the ONLY console you have to pay twice to watch netflix on I'm all about 'fuck microsoft'. On a comparison between the two I don't see much different graphically for all the better hardware but I do like the interface a lot better than the last 360 one. This also finally gave me a chance to play Dark Soul's. Great game as long as I can resist the urge to wing the controller at the tv every 20 minutes or so.

I've been on a Borderlands kick and taking my nephew through the game with my level 52 Soldier. Sucks having to go up against enemies at his rank (level 22)....everything dropped blows.

Demon's Souls, you mean? Dark Souls is the one that was multiplat.

Made a new personal sniping record in BF3 on PS3. Headshot from 1224 meters and it was combat, not a set up. I'm pretty sure that's about the best you can do on console.

I'd guess it sort of depends. If you're looking for something completely new and different from other fantasy based MMO's, then I'd say no. It's good overall and pretty polished and because there is no monthly fees, I personally feel it's worth it.

Finished Dawnguard finally. It's a lot of bang for your buck. But at times it just seems to go on forever. One thing that kills me in Skyrim is the complete lack of finality at the end of major quests. Sure, the battles are epic. But after it's done, everyone just says, "Thanks. See you later." And that's it. There are no cut scenes. There's no grand finale. It's just mission completed.

Been playing Guild Wars 2 for a bit, definitely a fun experience. I won't go as far as saying they reinvented the wheel, but they definitely made a lot of smart choices. Now I just need to stick with a character past level 30. Playing on Northern Shiverpeaks server
