London Calling: The World Tour Continues
Next March, the lovely DCBooks and I are packing up fellow poster KidMiracleMan and a lucky soon to be 9 year old and hopping across the pond to London for a week. Do we still have any posters in London proper? Any sites not to be missed, especially with a kid in tow?

We're going to do the White Chapel/ Ripper tour with Jacob. We're also planning the big tourist spots, (Big Ben, Zoo, Museums).

If you have a recommendations for good eats, or good shops we shouldn't miss let me know. We're staying in Paddington, so if there's a pub you know of near there, the have a Beer on Books rule certainly applies!

South Kensington: V&A museum, Natural History museum, Science museum, some nice pubs near the main entrance of tube station.

London Bridge - London Dungeon, Borough market (great food), must see Shad Thames area for food and sights.

Book some tours to see all the standard stuff.

One thing you MUST do, gto to the O2 dome in North Greenwich. After looking around there, take the Clipper (public transport boat) along the Thames to the end. You get to see all the best sights on the river really cheaply. There's a bar there too. I would do it late in the day to see the sunset.

Theres a new mall in Westfield (Shepherds Bush). I dont like shopping so only been once. Check out Oxford street, regent street, caranaby street, leicester square, soho, covent garden. Regents Park, Hyde Park and Marble Arch.
