I know I'll get lynched for this - but Nino "Elvis" Schembri.

In breif moments in his fight vs. Takase, I was very impressed with him. Other than the fact he had his name tattooed on his back of course.

Clinical, almost surgical jiu-jitsu. More flexible than bakedogg's mom and of course... dem sexy sideburns.

I thought, maybe, hooking up with Chute Boxe would light a fire under his butt but I guess not. Though it obviously helped out the other Chute boxe guys on the ground, Nino is still about as agressive as a sea slug.

Heath Herring, he has all the tools, stand-up and ground. He just can't seem to win against the best his devision has to offer.

Recently, Trevor Prangley. The guy is a great wrestler, looks to be big and very strong for his weight. Looks to hit fairly hard, just doesn't seem to look for the finish. If he'd just pounded on Horn a bit more looking to end it, rather then just hold onto position then he could have clearly taken the JD and scored a major win for his career. Possibly pushing him towards a title shot.

Would have thought training with AKA would have got him more agressive, with some of the guys they have there. The likes of Crunkleton, Swick, Buentello and Thompson generally are workaholics looking for the finish.

Takes a lot for me to say this about a south african too

Back in the day, Rizzo. Dude had nasty KO power but always just used to sit around seemingly waiting for someones jaw to land on his fist.

Wow, talk about patently untrue. Herring is a slightly above average heavyweight who actually made his career by always being in the upright and locked position come fight time. Look at his performances against Erikson and Kerr, he won both those matches by outworking his opponent. If anything, Herring has gotten everything he possibly could from his talent and only dropped off thanks to some lethargic performances and bad matchups.

bustamante - showed signs vs suda and minowa but i need more convincing evedence. if he is at the top of his game id take him over hendo any day. i can only hope.

sergei - so we can see fedor in a competitive fight vs someone he hasnt already faced. i want the sergei who fought rizzo all the time. i want to believe he was sick vs werdum.

hunt - turn on your sprawl and add some excitement to the hw division.
