Standard rules apply....especially being that it's WEC, there's a great chance that the majority of these fights will make it on the main card due to the quick finishes. First fight should be happening shortly

Mike Pierce vs. Justin Haskins - From the dog:

Round 1
Perce was determined to take Haskins down, spending most of the first round in the clinch with a body lock. Pierce suplexed Haskins but Haskins popped right up and scored with kicks to the leg and body. 10-9 Haskins.

Round 2
H spent more time in the second frame staving off Pierce’s takedown attempts. Haskins sunk a standing guillotine but Pierce sunk out and the two traded foot stomps in a slow round. 10-9 Haskins.

Round 3
Once again Pierce clinched with Haskins against the fence, but this time, Pierce threw a left hook that crumpled Haskins. Pierce threw a few more punches and Haskins was finished. The official time was 3;39 of the technical knockout.

Actually they never do go deep into the prelims on the WEC for some reason even with quick finishes. That said, hoorah! -and of course I have some crap to do that might keep me from the card for a bit :'(

John Franchi def. Mike Budnik by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

Round 1
Franchi started strong, knocking Budnik down with his first punch. Budnik recovers and sweeps his way out the back door. Budnik drops for an ankle and Franchi grabs a leg as well as they trade foot submissions. Budnik released and dropped some heavy punches down from the top position. The fighters stood to close the period. 10-9 Franchi.

Round 2
Budnik landed a great upkick to start round two after a quick takedown. Franchi got to side-control and peppered Budnik with knees and elbows to the body. Franchi continues to smother his opponent until Budnik swept out and loaded up on a huge leg kick as they stood. Franchi connected with a hard kick to the body before the horn sounded. 10-9 Budnik. 10-9 Franchi.

Round 3
Franchi swarmed with punches and Budnik ended up on his back in a scramble. Franchi takes side-control. The fighters stood and Budnik failed on a pull-guard attempt. Budnik lands an upkick and mounts a late attack on Franchi’s legs but it’s too little, too late. Franchi takes the split decision with scores of 29-28 (twice) and 28-29 for Budnik.

Round 1
The fight starts off slow with a clinch against the fencing. Karalexis threw McIntyre but got sucked into a double-leg takedown. Karalexis kicked his opponent off and the fighters stood. A kick from McIntyre is caught and Karalexis sweeps him down by kicking his other leg out from under him. The fighters scramble and Karalexis uses a double leg to slam McIntyre to the floor. Against the cage, Karalexis pounds away with punches until the referee shows mercy. The official time is 4:19 of the first.

Round 1
The first stanza is fairly even as Rebello came out swinging with wild punches. Osawa caught Rebello with a little flurry during a scramble off the fence. Osawa kept his hands low throughout the round and gave as he got. Rebello grazed a "Superman" punch just before the bell. 10-9 Rebello.

Round 2
Rebello rushed in with a trio of solid left hooks that backed Osawa up to the cage. The next few minutes were uneventful as the two leaned against the fence amidst a chorus of boos. Osawa used push kicks and the threat of his front leg to keep Rebello from getting inside. Osawa takes the round, 10-9.

Round 3
More fence clinching and resting in the final round. Rebello landed knees to the thigh of the Japanese fighter. Osawa continued to use his push kick once the fighters moved to the center of the cage. Osawa mixed in the occasional jab, which frustrated Rebello. Clearly ticked, Rebello started winging wild overhand rights that missed their mark. Rebello connected with a punching flurry in the bout’s final moments. Osawa wins a head scratcher taking two of the cards with scores of 29-28. Rebello received a score of 30-27 on the third judges’ card.

Marcos Galvao vs. Damacio Page
Round 1
emacio Page ended Galvao’s night early in scary fashion. Page rushed forward with a right hand and then followed it with three more. The final of which knocked Galvao out on his feet as he fell to the ground. Page made sure he was out with one more and mercifully walked away when Galvao stiffened up. Galvao did not respond to medical personal until he was being carried away on a stretcher. Relief was felt in the arena after a few tense moments. The official time was 0:18 of the first.
