Jim Miller vs. Nate Diaz announced via twitter.

I kind of wanted Diaz/Barboza and Miller to wait around or get Guida or Sherk or someone. Actually I don't know WTF I wanted them to do with Miller but I really wanted Diaz/Barboza.

Still. Good fight. Gotta imagine it has serious title implications.

Miller has to win by sub or by holding top position the whole fight. tough matchup for both unless it stays standing. then Nate owns him.

Cmon. Jim takes him down easy, then beats on him. His BJJ is by far good enough to avoid subs, and continues beating on him. Rinse and repeat rounds 2 and 3.

In theory, I agree. But I'm done trying to pick against the Diaz brothers. They somehow force every opponent to throw away their gameplan and opt to get pitter-pattered in the face for 3 rounds.

This. Diaz arguably beat Grey Maynard, so a win against Miller isn't out of the question. How it happens I have no idea, but this shit just happens.

They should have waited for this match up and put it on a card later w/ Nick vs Dan.

Nick has a higher overall skill level but Dan would be competitive at 185 I think. They could have put Mayhem/Shields 2 on it as well.

Anyhow, I'm having a tough time picking this one after seeing Diaz destroy Cerrone. My head says Miller but my gut says Diaz.

The real question is...after Nate just beat Cowboy....and Rory Macdonald threw Nate around like a little girl.....just how good is Rory? He almost beat Condit. Very very close....and he was still pretty green then.
