That was probably the slowest leg kick of all-time.. I was just seeing how he blocked those attacks and unsurprisingly he blocked it with his hand instead of his shin...

Wow. Two weeks ago I was in the same situation.. Guy was boxing; bobbing and weaving type of stuff.. I clinched and then he was pretty much lost.. I threw a few knees and he didn't want anymore.. They weren't hard at all, but he didn't know where they were coming from, so it just caught him off-guard.

When you're 6'6'', you just play with the hand you are dealt in life. Knees are just my thing.

Yeah, definitely play to your strengths. That shit must be murder in the clinch, haha. I hurt my guy with an impromptu body crank. I passed his guard with strikes but he managed to get one lack back through, so I passed a leg under his head, grabbed the shin on the other side (kinda like rubber guard, but from the top), and just started to squeeze a little. Apparently it was some devestating shit, but I honestly had no idea what I was doing or whether it'd be effective... just felt like the right thing to do at the time.

Quit hating, Bish. I was lucky to get a guy with any stand-up skills to help me train. Beggers can't be choosers.. Sure, I would have liked someone who was over 6 feet, but oh well.. Paul is actually 5'9'' and the dude I'm fighting is 5'10'' so it's all good anyway..

Details on the guy:

I don't really know much about him other than he has a few amateur kickboxing fights. He is strictly a stand-up fighter and has a very limited ground game.. He is also unorthodox.. Likes looping shots and showing different angles..

So yeah, I guess he does have more experience than me..
